I seem to have a fan of some sort, because suddenly the views have jumped for “Roaring in the Pines” — a miscellany of poems squirreled at the tabs above — and someone has searched twice on the opening line of probably the most heartfelt verse I ever wrote to a man: “Be damned and double damned, you cur.”
I think we would all agree that this is not a random search term that would emerge from a room of monkeys with typewriters, so ‘fess up — is there someone out there who actually likes my stuff enough to remember a line? (Especially that line?) And type it into Google twice?
It could get me started writing poetry again.
