I’ve been on Boston’s subway and also their commuter trains to the burbs just once, but enjoyed the transportation.

I love rail of all sorts. Like your albino ex I took the rails everywhere when I was younger and living in cities with subways and elevated lines.

To healingmagichands. Bourbons are not allowed to add any sweeteners, just like Scotch Malts. Caramel spirit is sometimes allowed, which is flavourless. I wouldn’t knock bourbons – a good one, like George T Stagg which scored 94 points in Jim Murray’s whisky bible isn’t far off the score for the top Scotch. If the corn sweetness is too much for you, there are plenty of bourbons out there that are far less so, and very very pleasant.
